The Skate For The 22 Foundation Offers Financial Assistance And Work Party Assistance To Families Of Veterans/Active Duty/Reserve personnel Who Have Committed Suicide. We Also Offer Scholarships To Their Spouses And Children.
A veteran is defined as someone who has served in the Armed Forces of the United States, specifically the Army,Navy, Marine Corps, Air Force, Coast Guard, or National Guard
Active Duty/Reserve personnel are defined as serving on active duty, or in the reserve complement, of the Armed Forces of the United States, specifically the Army, Navy, Marine Corps, Air Force, Coast Guard or National Guard, at the time of the suicide.
The Foundation has started its Lt Col Charles W Whittlesey Scholarship, and intends to award two $1000 scholarships in 2017.
